Original Story Twelve years after dropping there celebrated collaborative 12 inch, Bad Meets Evil, Eminem and Royce da 5’9” announced they will be dropping an EP together.
According to the Associated Press, the two Detroit lyricists will be putting out the, as-yet-untitled project through Shady/Interscope Records on June 14.
In a statement Em said, “Royce and I started hanging out again and inevitably that led us back into the studio. At first we were just seeing where it went without any real goal in mind, but the songs started to come together crazy, so here we are.”
XXLMag.com broke the news back in January that Mr. Mathers signed Royce’s supergroup, Slaughterhouse, to his Shady label. Along with the Slaughterhouse album and his new EP with Em, Royce is also currently prepping the release of his next solo album, Success is Certain, for July 26. The first single to the disc, “Writer Block,” also features Eminem
