One of Doe B's closest friends has now become one of TIP's biggest enemies as Perry Boi took shots at the Atlanta legend.
In a new song called “Only God Knows,” PB took issue with T.I.'s latest dispute with those affiliated with the late rapper and claims Doe B was a large part of the reason TIP was successful. He also takes issue with the struggle over Doe B's estate.
"Talk about a Doe album but we ain't see shit," he raps in the song. "You promised Doe a mill but don't fill now you say you don't owe shit. I feel you though, see I could get a hundred mill or kill a hundred men but if you talk about G code you know the streets know you and I know you need it though. Nobody fuck with Hustle Gang until you fucked with Doe."
The diss track is presumably in light of the recent issue over Doe B's estate. Earlier this week, T.I. responded to claims he owed the estate of Doe money and claimed he never earned "a dime" off of Doe B.
Kendrick Lamar's affinity for Tupac Shakur is well documented. His admiration was perhaps best displayed on his most recent album, To Pimp A Butterfly, when he figuratively interviewed the late rapper during the track “Mortal Man” (the interview was pulled from a 1994 video back-and-forth).
Yesterday (September 13), marked the 19th anniversary of Pac's death and to commemorate it, the Compton native penned an open letter to his idol, which was featured on 2pac.com. The website has confirmed that it was indeed Kendrick Lamar who wrote the piece.
The title for To Pimp A Butterfly also drew its inspiration from Tupac. The album, which was originally supposed to be called, Tu Pimp a Caterpillar, would've had an abbreviation of Tu.P.A.C. This revelation coming from Lamar in an interview with MTV after the project was released.

Back in August, Yo Gotti was put out The Return Of Cocaine Muzik Pt. 1 & 2. Now only a month later, he is back with an aptly titled mixtape called The Return. He went all all out for it too. It features artists that include French Montana, Fetty Wap and Lil Boosie as well as banging production from Metro Boomin, Boi-1da and Zaytoven.
