G Herbo f.k.a. Lil Herb Signs With Cinematic Music Group


G Herbo has signed to Cinematic Music Group, a press release announces. The Chicago rapper formerly went by the name Lil Herb.

"G Herbo has the life experience, lyrical dexterity, and the vocal inflection of someone far beyond his years," the release says of the 19-year-old rapper. "No one in the game paints a more vivid picture of young street life in America like G Herbo."

G Herbo is planning to drop the Ballin Like I'm Kobe mixtape. He released the first video from the project for a song called "No Limit."

The rapper is also slated to go on the "Smoker's Club Tour" this fall.

Cinematic Music Group has released material from Mick Jenkins, Joey Bada$$ and Big K.R.I.T.
