A$AP Rocky Gets His Second #1 Album; Boosie Debuts At No. 3
Two of the top 3 spots on the Billboard Hot 200 belong to Hip Hop albums. A$AP Rocky's At. Long. Last. A$AP is the Harlem, New York rapper's second album to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 200. Boosie Badazz scored his highest charting album by landing at #3 this week and Ed Sheeran's X bumps up one spot.
A$AP Rocky is two-for-two when it comes to albums landing on the top spot of Billboard charts. Rocky followed up the success of 2013's Long Live A$AP by debuting #1 on the charts again with his latest offering, At. Long. Last. A$AP. The album was streamed over 25 million times according to soundscan and Rocky fans snatched over 116,000 albums from store shelves.
Boosie Badazz's sixth studio album, Touchdown to Cause Hell, landed at the #3 spot on Billboard's Hot 200, which makes the album his highest charting project ever.
The album is the rapper's first project since being released from prison last March. Boosie Badazz (formerly known as Lil Boosie) sold over 59,000 copies of Touchdown to Cause Hell in its first week and it was streamed over 2 million times, according to Soundscan.
