Sean’s Dark Sky Paradise debuted at the top spot less than 3,000 units ahead of Kid Rock’s latest album. Lower down the list, Drake fell from #2 to #4 while Chris Brown and Tyga saw their joint album Fan of a Fan: The Album debut at #7.
With the album already garnering the best reviews of Sean’s fledgling discography, Dark Sky Paradise also becomes his first #1 album on the Billboard 200. The third album from Big Sean sold a total of 139,427 units in its first week of availability, a figure not far off from Nicki Minaj’s recent Pinkprint rollout. Sean's latest was also streamed more than 17 million times.
