Original Story During his recent OVO Fest set, Drake referred to Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant as his brother and said that he wanted the audience to show him appreciation with applause, a comment that has reportedly cost the Toronto Raptors $25,000.
"My brother Kevin Durant was kind enough to come to the show tonight to watch us," he said. "I just want him to see what would happen if he came to play in Toronto. Let him know what would happen."
Marc Stein, a reporter who covers the NBA often, says this could have hurt the Raptors.
