Original Story A Chicago Tribune article reports that 17-year old Chicago, Illinois rapper RondoNumbaNine has been arrested and charged with murder. The Tribune reports that Rondo, whose given name is Clint Massey, is currently being held on a $2 million bail as of today (March 9) at Cook County Bond Court.
The murder charge stems from an incident on February 22 in which Massey, along with another unnamed gunmen, fired into the passenger side of a vehicle that held 28-year old Javan Boyd. Boyd, who was a driver for a local dispatch service according to the Tribune’s article, was waiting for a customer before he was shot seven times early in the morning.
Assistant State Attorney Robert Mack reports that some of the incident was captured on video and that the rapper’s fingerprints were found on the victim’s vehicle.
