Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly Of Kriss Kross Dead At 34

Original Story Chris Kelly, best known as "Mac Daddy" of '90s Hip Hop duo Kriss Kross, has reportedly died.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Kelly was found unresponsive in his home on Wednesday (May 1) afternoon.

Kelly was transported to Atlanta Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Kriss Kross was a child Rap duo consisting of Kelly and Chris "Daddy Mac" Smith. Kriss Kross landed a smash hit with 1992's "Jump," which featured the group's trademark backwards outfits.

The former So So Def act reunited to perform at the label's 20th anniversary all-star concert in Atlanta.

Kelly revealed in a January 2013 interview with Yahoo! that he had gone to school to be a music engineer. "I just wanted to do something different," he explained. "Get more on the technical side of things than just being an artist, and produce. I just wanted to be [the] all around best I could be as far as doing everything."

Kelly was 34 years old.
