French Montana Attacked In Drive-By Shooting, One Person Dead

French Montana was the target of a drive-by shooting last night following a performance at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's Theater of the Living Arts.

According to NBC 10 Philadelphia, the Coke Boys leader was engaging with fans outside of his tour bus outside of the Holiday Inn on Penn's Landing when someone driving by open fired.

A 27-year-old man was shot in the stomach and rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Another victim was shot in the shoulder and is currently in stable condition.

Police are currently questioning 25 people including Montana about the incident. Three were taken into custody for carrying guns, as investigators say that someone inside the bus fired back after the initial shot. There are currently no suspects in the shooting.

"It's just ignorant. You fire into a crowd and you're gonna hit somebody. In this case, unfortunately, someone was killed. Don't know if they had anything to do with anything, if they were a fan or what," said Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey. "When you find people like that, they should just never see the light of day again. I mean that kind of behavior's just unacceptable. For me, there's just no rehabilitation for anything like that," Ramsey said.

This isn't the first drive-by shooting to occur in recent months. In January, Rick Ross was targeted in Florida, crashing his Rolls Royce into a building after gunmen shot at his vehicle.
