The other driver’s husband told TMZ that he and his pregnant wife were waiting at a red light in the turning lane on Saturday night (June 23), when Soulja’s red Bentley swerved across a double yellow line and collided with their vehicle. The other driver claimed that Soulja Boy was driving the high-end vehicle, but the rapper’s camp says that it was Soulja’s bodyguard—and not the rhyme slinger—behind the wheel.
The man’s wife was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital as a precaution. The man and Soulja Boy were okay.
Footage from the accident seems to support the man’s claim of Soulja losing control of his Bentley—which had to be towed as a result of the incident—as tape shows the rapper’s vehicle significantly over a double yellow line with the other car’s front left wheel broken off due to the impact of the accident.
The accident is still under investigation
