The Weeknd To Perform Debut U.S. Show In New York City, New York

Original Story The Weeknd has announced its first U.S. live show, taking place next week in New York City, New York.

According to Pitchfork, the Canadian act will headline Vice magazine’s first annual Upfront Extravaganza on September 15th at Skylight One Hanson. Additional performers at the event include A-Trak, Tanlines, Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner, Black Lips and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

The Weeknd has only played a handful of shows over the past year, most recently performing at Drake’s OVO Festival in July.
