Pimp C's Wife Launches Scholarship Fund; Auctions Off 'Ridin' Dirty' Plaque

Original Story Chinara Butler has announced that she is establishing a scholarship fund in memory of her late husband, rapper Chad "Pimp C." Butler.

In order to raise funds for the scholarship, Chinara will auction off a Ridin' Dirty gold plaque, to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of UGK's classic album.

Ms. Butler will also host an open art competition that features artists' original drawings of the late Pimp C.

The winning artwork will be displayed on the insert of a new upcoming Pimp C. album that is in the works, in addition to being showcased at the 3rd annual “Chad 'Pimp C.' Butler Hip Hop, Health & Wellness Festival," Houston Texas this December.

“Chad put his all into making his music, and learning the business of music," Chinara Butler told AllHipHop.com. "For people that want to succeed in the music industry, education is a must."

The 3rd annual "Chad 'Pimp C.' Butler Hip Hop, Health & Wellness Festival takes place on December 10th and is being produced by Ms. Butler's company UGQ, along with Houston's S.E.A C. and CCM foundation:
