Original Story Queens, New York rapper Nas will pay homage to the victims of 9/11 by
participating in a new nationwide campaign that urges his fans to engage
in charitable services all year-round.
Nas has join celebrities like Lady Gaga, Baron Davis, Fran
Drescher, DJ Pauly D, Drake Bell and Juliet Hough in the new “I Will”
"Public Service Advertising" spots, which urge all Americans to engage
in good deeds, volunteer in their communities and support charitable
causes on the 9/11 Day Observance.
"No one was ready for what happened that day," Nas says in the PSA. "I will remember the people that we lost."
Nas is featured in the :30 spots, which will air across all
Viacom network from today (September 7th) until the anniversary of 9/11,
which were the worst terrorist attacks in United States history.
The 9/11 Day Observance was created by the 9/11 nonprofit
MyGoodDeed, along with the HandsOn Network, which is a nonprofit
organization that is privately funded.
